Verrazzano Chianti Classico 1970

A fortified villa near the town of Greve in Chianti, that can trace its history in wine back to 1150AD. Owned by the Cappellini family since the 1950's, who invested heavily in the vineyard and winery. 1970 was a good vintage for Tuscany.

Typical blend, Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Colorino
