Chianti Classico rules changed in 1984 to prohibit the use of Merlot under the Classico DOCG so this wine changed to the Toscana DOCG from 1985 onwards. The vintage was sadly not a great one for the region and as a result now quite rare.

Typical blend, Sangiovese, Merlot. 72cl bottle, Abv 12%
