Chateau Lanessan 1931

An incredibly rare vintage to find. From a time when business was in a slump. The growing season was particularly wet, but some sun during the first week of the harvest improved the situation a little. I have always found Lanessan to be a consistently good Medoc wine. The next year it was awarded Cru Bourgeois Superieur.

Typical blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot. 75cl bottle. Abv not stated.

Bottle condition, capsule has a little corrosion on the top. The label is good, Wine level high shoulder.
