Chateau Clerc Milon Rothschild 1975

The fifth vintage released under the ownership of the Rothshild's, who bought the property in 1970. The vineyard lies between Mouton and Lafite and there was no Chateau. 1975 was a vintage that was incredibly tannic and there were fears that the fruit would not outlast the tannins. As a result they took an incredible amount of time to come around. They can still be good.

Typical blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc. 75cl bottle. Abv not stated.
