How it all Started Part 4

Following on from roaming around the racecourses I moved to Heathrow Airport to help out in the training department. It was meant to be for two months, but I moved into operations and stayed 7 years! The greatest vinous moment during this time came in the shape of the THF house wine. This was sold in every THF establishment throughout the world. Named after the Arc de Triomphe, the famous horse race that THF sponsored. It wasn't great and known by the staff as ADT. In Terminal 2 I was Operations manager for Butlers restaurant and Bar and lobbied my boss to let me change the house wine, met with our suppliers, had tastings and Jaboulet Vercherre Bourgogne Blanc and Rouge were chosen. Slowly but surely the whole company changed!
