Chateau Gruaud Larose 1964

The 1964 vintage was set to be a great one until the rain spoiled it for the estates that chose to harvest late. Chateau Gruaud was one that managed to harvest before the rains and as a result the wine had more depth and staying power.

Typical blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec.

Bottle condition, capsule a little corroded, label bin soiled and faded, wine level mid shoulder.
