History tells us that Thomas Jefferson claimed that Coutet was the best Sauternes in Barsac. The property changed hands many times, after the owner Filhot was beheaded during the French Revolution, until purchased by the Baly family in 1977.
Typical blend, Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc. 75cl bottle. Abv 12%
Bottle condition, capsule good, label good, wine level top shoulder.
