Chateau Cantemerle 1979

Owned by the Dubois family until 1980 when they sold to a syndicate after family quarrels and financial problems. They had prior to this established the Chateau's reputation for fragrant, elegant wines. The 1979 vintage has been a surprise over the last couple of years with several bottles showing well.

Typical blend, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot. 75cl bottle. Abv% not stated.

Bottle condition, capsule good, label bin soiled and stained. Wine level very top shoulder.
